A professional Qualification in Clinical Psychology from an institution recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI)
Registration in Central Rehabilitation Register (CRR) as Clinical Psychologist
Clinical psychologist, after post graduation in psychology, a person has to complete 2 yrs M.Phil in Clinical Psychology from an RCI approved institution.
This two years course is an internship training program with rigorous clinical work in equipping oneself in different methods of psychological assessment and psychotherapy.
Ph. D in Clinical Psychology is not mandatory for licensing; however, it helps in further specializing in certain areas of interest.
